House Democrats are calling for an independent special counsel to investigate President Trump's alleged criminal ties to Jeffrey Epstein. That is according to a new report made public today.

The report says, quote, this a growing body of evidence demonstrates that Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of young women. It also alleges the Justice Department and the FBI are quote doing everything they can to keep the American people in the dark about it. So, it's vital to recall how we got here, even if Donald Trump wishes this was not the top story tonight. First, last year, then Attorney General Bondi claimed in writing that there was actually no evidence for any other investigations against third parties who had not already been charged in this Epstein probe. And remember, she also said there should be no further disclosure of any Epstein files. That was her memo. That was the Trump, Bondi plan to bury and hide the Epstein files.

The president has repeatedly denied any knowledge of or involvement in Epstein's criminal activity and said he cut ties before allegations of sex trafficking became public. In a statement, the White House called the allegations false and said the report was quote nothing more than a desperate attempt by crazed Democrats to distract Americans.

What's up everybody? Major retired Richard Ojeda here. And what is Donald Trump so damn afraid of? And why does demanding answers about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein send the White House into a full-blown frenzy of fingerpointing and political spin?

What's new here is that these Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee think that what the DOJ has investigated is just not enough. The files released not enough either. And that's why they want an independent special counsel to be at the tip of the spear of this and really drill down on all of these allegations. There is a statement Yasmin from the DOJ uh saying this report is nothing more than a lastditch effort by House Judiciary Democrats to mislead the public.

The department complied with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, making public the nearly 3 million investig investigatory documents. All these files were part of FBI investigations that spanned decades. And these claims were investigated by agents at the time. What does matter and what Donald Trump's DOJ is a part of is how long the government has hid and misled about the very facts we now have continuing to come out. And perhaps it's a political irony for Donald Trump that by fighting this so hard, he has dragged the tendency of this discussion and news cycle closer and closer to the next election in the midterms.

An Epstein bombshell is rocking Washington DC. A damning new report from House Democrats accuses Donald Trump of being an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of young women. And now they're demanding an independent investigation into allegations of sex crimes and a possible government cover up. And right off the bat, Donald Trump and Todd Blanche are finding themselves in some mighty hot water. Democrats have acknowledged this is going to be an uphill battle for them.

Look, you have the president who's still in the White House, even if Democrats are able to flip the house and take that chamber. Uh they can't compel a special counsel. Only the DOJ and the administration can do that. But I think what it does do is give us a window in what their targets will be if they do retake the majority in a week's time. Uh they are going to focus on re investigating the Epstein matter. We know Republicans ran an investigation, but certainly in the House, sources I'm talking to in the Senate as well, Yasmin, getting ready to gear those up.

Uh, and of course, if they win, they're going to go full force on them. But what's the White House doing?

Skyrocketing grocery bills, gas prices, rent, or the damn war in Iran. Give me a break. You can point fingers, call your critics crazy, and spin this thing until everybody's dizzy. But that doesn't answer a single question about Epstein or what the Justice Department knew.

Why uh are Republicans so interested in Bill and Hillary Clinton? It's because they're trying to distract from the fact that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files thousands and thousands of times. In those files, there's highly disturbing allegations of Donald Trump raping children, of Donald Trump threatening to kill children. So, I encourage the press to go look at these allegations.

The cat is out of the bag. These allegations are now out in the open, and the American people deserve the whole truth, not another truckload of Trump political Bullshit. And now, here comes the part that ought to stop everybody in their tracks. House Judiciary Democrats say their report includes accounts involving 11 women. Five accused Donald Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein's company or presence. One of them, Beatrice Keul, told congressional investigators that Trump raped her during a 1993 pageant at New York's Plaza Hotel. Stacey Williams says Trump groped her while Epstein stood nearby. And that's not all. According to an FBI account of an interview with a former Palm Beach police chief, Trump called about Epstein back in 2006 and reportedly said, "Everybody has known he's been doing this." Now, Trump denies wrongdoing.

And these accusations have not been proven in court. But 11 women's accounts, FBI records, and fresh questions about what the government knew, that's not something you get to wave away with a White House press release. The American people deserve better. And how about we get our damn priorities straight for a change. Could you imagine if Washington pursued people who prey on children with the same damn determination it uses chasing down innocent immigrants on their way to work. Imagine if we closed billionaire tax loopholes as quickly as we consider cutting programs that feed hungry kids.

And imagine if we funded health care with the same urgency that we find money for another damn war. Think about this.

A first time illegal border crossing is generally a misdemeanor. Sexually abusing children is a felony. Sounds to me like we've got the wrong damn people in cages. And Donald Trump loves putting his name on everything, doesn't he?

Well, how about the more than 38,000 references to Trump, his family, and related terms in the Epstein files? 38,000.

And instead of demanding that every credible allegation be thoroughly investigated, the White House is attacking the people calling for answers. Folks, we're talking about allegations of sexual abuse, victims demanding justice, and serious questions about what our government knew. And they think they can make this all go away with another dumpster fire of lies. And let's not forget who helped make Epstein transparency a campaign issue. Trump said he had released the files. JD Vance called for the Epstein list to come out.

Pam Bondi later claimed that the list was sitting on her desk. Now, the Justice Department says it has released nearly 3.5 million pages, but House Democrats are demanding an independent investigation into what's still unanswered. So, how in the hell did release the files turn into you're crazy for asking questions? And apparently for many of his cult members, it's easier to attack everybody demanding answers than admit they just might have been wrong about the man that they've spent years defending. And honestly, I miss the days when we could all agree on something pretty damn basic. Misogynists, white supremisists, and people who pray on children are the bad guys. When in the hell did that become controversial?

When did demanding justice for victims of sexual abuse become a partisan issue? I don't give a damn if you're accused as a president, a billionaire, a Republican,or a Democrat. Investigate the allegations, protect the survivors, and follow the evidence wherever it may lead. Because if defending your favorite politician matters more to you than protecting children, folks, you've got one hell of a problem with your moral compass. And that is an absolute fact.
